Since we weren't at war in Pakistan, wasn't the execution of an unarmed Bin Laden murder?

Bin Laden was a war criminal nonetheless who was wanted "dead or alive" by several governments. He was responsible for the bombing of the twin towers and other acts of terrorism and also the leader of Al Qaeda. Although I wish he was gotten a trial before his execution I certainly do not begrudge Obama for giving the go ahead to kill him
