Why did the Obama administration want to make sure the whole world know that OBL was unarmed when executed?

UBL being unarmed is the "official story". We don't know the REAL story. Hell, the story changes each time someone from the administration gets in front of a microphone and camera. But then, that's what they do with everything so it's nothing new. We're just going to have to wait until Obama is out of office to know the TRUE story.
