Atheists: If We Come From Apes, How Come Apes Don't Throw Spears?

No primate other than humans have ever been able to discover or invent anything. They can only be taught from a more intelligent source. Without tools and weapons humans are one of the most vulnerable creatures on earth. In fact, if it took thousands of years to evolve, humans would have been wiped out by predators long ago. Unarmed, a single person can't defend himself against a wild dog, much less a lion or a cougar or a bear.
