How to survive a bear attack without weapons?

This question reminds me of the joke....... Two guys were out camping in bear country when a bear started to attack their tent , one guy immediately takes out a pair of running shoes from his ruck sack and begins to put them on. The other guy says "What are you doing you cant outrun a bear ..?" The first guy answers "No but I just need to outrun you"
