Was Paul Castellano weak ?

I wouldn't necessarily say he ways weak, John Gotti definately had more ambission than him. When Big Paul was a Capo he was a big earner for the family, which is why he was definately a much better boss on the money side of things. He just got the short end of the stick. Had he been the boss earlier i think things would have been a lot more successful for him. But to be a Don you do need to excericse some violence to keep your power, so he was weak to a certain extent but he ran the family a lot better than Gotti.
